• Using photos and the latest in digital smile design software we can design your new veneers to
  suit your required look and give you the opportunity to see the projected results before we start
  treatment.

Preparation:

• If you decide to proceed with veneers, a small amount of enamel is typically removed from the front surface of the teeth receiving veneers. This is usually done to create space for the veneers and ensure a natural appearance.
• In some cases, minimal or no enamel removal may be necessary, depending on the type of veneers being used and your specific dental situation.

Impressions/scans:

• Once your teeth are prepared, we will take impressions or a scan of your teeth. These records are sent to a dental laboratory, where your custom veneers will be meticulously crafted.

Fabrication:

• Veneers can be made from either porcelain or composite resin material. Porcelain veneers are known for their durability and lifelike appearance, while composite veneers can be more affordable and quicker to apply.

Bonding:

• When your veneers are ready, you’ll return to the dentist for the bonding process.
• Your dentist will carefully place the veneers on your teeth, checking for fit, shape, and colour to ensure they blend seamlessly with your natural teeth.
• Once the fit is perfect, the veneers are permanently bonded to your teeth using a special dental adhesive and curing light.
• Any final adjustments to the veneers are made, ensuring they feel comfortable and look natural.

Final Polishing:

• The veneers are polished to a high shine, giving your smile a beautiful, natural appearance.

Maintenance and Care:

Veneers are durable and stain-resistant, but proper oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups are essential to maintain their longevity. Avoid biting on hard objects or habits like nail-biting, as these can potentially damage the veneers.
