Begin With The End In Mind

Most people want healthy, comfortable teeth and a great looking smile that lasts a life time.

Fortunately, for most people under 40, this is easily achieved thanks to the benefit of fluoride in drinking water. For those people suffering from the legacy of extraction and amalgam dentistry, modern, well planned treatment can achieve great results.

Whatever your teeth are like now, we will ask you what you want for your dental health, both now and in the future.
  • Our philosophy is to offer great treatment options and future preventive care.

So that we get to know you as an individual and have a thorough look at your mouth, we allocate a one hour new patient appointment (at no extra fee) and take our time to find out your concerns. If there are none - that's fantastic! After having had this time with you we feel we can recommend the treatment that is most appropriate for you.

If this sounds like the level of care that you are looking for, please call or email the surgery and we will be happy to answer any further questions and schedule your appointment.

Children's dentistry

We know that the first impression we make on children has to be good if we are going to set up a lifetime of good habits.

Your child's first visit to the dentist should familiarise them with this strange place, where people wear gloves and masks, and it should also be about education.
We will show them how to brush their teeth, talk to them about the importance of what they eat and drink and begin to build an understanding that they have to look after their teeth for life.

If there is a need, we may clean your child's teeth at this visit.

A child's dental development is also something we monitor. If your child sucks his or her thumb or a dummy, if they have a tongue tie, or regular tonsillitis infections this can affect the ongoing development of their jaws and face. Timely treatment can have a great impact on the way they grow.

Should your child require any further dental treatment, we are able to provide a comprehensive range of services. No parent wants to see their child upset, so when treating children our goal is to make sure they feel comfortable and secure. An important service is referral to specialist paediatric dentists if we feel that is in their best interest.
